West End leading men Ramin Karimloo (“Love Never Dies”,
The Phantom of the Opera”), Simon Bailey (“Les Miserables”, “The Phantom of the Opera”) and
Stephen Rahman-Hughes (“West Side Story”, “Bombay Dreams”) will be performing four gala
concerts in Athens, Greece. They will be accompanied by the orchestra of contemporary music of ERT and special
guest star Fotini Darra.
This spectacular concert event showcases the music of shows like “Les Miserables”, “Cats”,
“Nine”, “Miss Saigon”, “Rent”, “Love Never Dies”, “We Will Rock You, “Hair”, “The Who’s
Tommy”, “Disney’s Beauty and the Beast”, “Carousel” and “The Phantom of the Opera”.
WEST END STARS IN CONCERT will be at Badminton Theater on 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd of December 2011 and is produced by TMG – Theatrical Management
Group and presented in association with ADaM Productions.

Ramin Karimloo‘s theatre credits include, leading roles in “Love Never Dies” (2011 Olivier
Award Nominee and Winner of the 2011 What’s On Stage Award, both for ‘Best Actor in a
Musical’), “The Phantom of the Opera” (Theatre Goers’ Choice Award Nomination), “Les
Miserables”, “Miss Saigon”, “The Pirates of Penzance” and “Sunset Boulevard”. Ramin had the
privilege of performing as ‘Enjolras’ in “Les Miserables – A Special Concert at Windsor Castle” to
celebrate the centenary of the Entente Cordiale, in front of Her Majesty The Queen and also
reprised the role for the 25th Anniversary celebration of “Les Miserables at The 02”. Recordings
include: his own album “Within the Six Square Inch” and the premiere symphonic recording of
“Love Never Dies”. Ramin has signed with a major label and is currently recording his first solo
album. Ramin Karimloo is performing the role of Phantom one final time as part of the
spectacular 25th Anniversary Concert of “The Phantom of the Opera” at London’s Royal Albert
Hall, which is also broadcast live to cinemas around the world.
Simon Bailey’s theatre credits include, leading roles in “Les Miserables”, “Parade”, “Romeo And
Julliet”, “Naked Flame”, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, “We Will Rock You”,
“Passion” at the Donmar Warehouse and Raoul in the London production of “The Phantom of the
Opera”. Simon is a member of ‘theatreland’s first supergroup’ Teatro with which he toured the
world, earned a Gold album and performed in front of Her Majesty the Queen.
Stephen Rahman-Hughes theatre credits include, leading roles in “West Side Story”, “Drive Ride
Walk”, “The Country Wife”, “Puteri Gunung Ledang” in Malaysia and the role of Akaash in
Andrew Lloyd Webber’s West End production of “Bombay Dreams”, a role which he also
showcased on Broadway. As a member of the acclaimed group Teatro Stephen performed for
Her Majesty the Queen as part of “The Royal Variety Performance”. Stephen Rahman-Hughes is
an award winning choreographer, receiving the Jerwood Award for “Hedo-scetic”, the Peter
Darrell Choreographer’s Award for Stravinsky’s “Renard” and his work can also be seen in
numerous pop-promos and TV ads.
Fotini Darra is one of Greece’s leading recording artists and actresses and her theatrical credits
include “Chicago , “Midsummer Nights Dream” and “Grease”. Fotini has performed in some of the
greatest theaters and concerthalls such as: the Lincoln Center New York, Unesco in Paris, the
Assembly Hall of the U.N. in New York», Biblioteca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Ancient Theater of
Epidaurus in Greece, Herodium Theater and the Agia Eirini in Istanbul. She has also performed
in the opening of the 2004 Olympic Games and the Eurovision Song Contest in Athens. She has
been awarded with several international prizes. |
