ARCHIVE are back in Athens! Ready to Rock us with their last album, Controlling Crowds which made it to the top of the charts along with their classical hits: Fuck U, Again and Pulse. The history of the band dates back to 1994 when two extraordinary synth maniacs influenced by trip hop and progressive rock, Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths, formed the group. Their sound has never been the same throughout the years: from the pure electronic and downtempo sounds of their first album Londinium, until their latest Controlling Crowds, their music has changed many times. The album You All Look the Same to Me in 2002 marked the coming of a new member, Craig Walker, and also a new musical adventure with a turn from the electronic sound to rock always mixed with trip hop and electronica. With Noise in 2004 and the hit Fuck U, a protest-song against George Bush, they achieved great success in Europe. In 2006 Craig Walker abandoned the group and ARCHIVE released the album Lights, while the following year they released the DVD Live at Zenith.
