With humor and grace the monologues celebrate female sexuality and strength
The multi-cultural artistic team "Tana" (meaning "happiness in aborigine") and Playroom Theatre present the awarded play The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler, at the Badminton Theatre.
After last season's successful limited bi-lingual run of The Vagina Monologues in conjunction with the global activist movement V-Day (aiming to end violence against women and girls) the proceeds of which were donated to charity W.I.N. Hellas (supporting women in abusive relationships), this year American and English actresses Monica McShane and Isobel Pravda team up again with Greek actress Christina Mitropoulou, under the direction of Agata Darlasi, to offer more performances at the Badminton Theatre.
The play is based on over 200 real-life interviews with women. The Vagina Monologues has played an important part in helping countless women throughout the world take control of their bodies and their lives.
